Their old, twisted branches reaching for the blue skies of the Valle del Pop. The winter pruning is complete, and they stand bare and majestic in their purest state. How beautiful and austere this landscape of seemingly lifeless trunks is, as we reflect on how they will transform throughout the year.  <\/p>\n<p>Winter pruning, like all stages of the vine, is crucial for the healthy development and longevity of the vines. When the plant is in its vegetative rest and the timing is right\u2014without rain or frost\u2014we proceed with this important step. We adapt to the climate for this. We are shaping the structure of the plant and the number of buds, which translates to the yield we seek and quality grapes. This pruning favors the regeneration of the plant.    <\/p>\n<p>Unlike other areas, our vineyards are grown in goblet style, the most traditional and ancient form. These vineyards do not need any kind of support or irrigation and are mainly nourished by the soil and the moisture that reaches them from the Mediterranean. The old vines are low-yielding and require manual attention, more care and, during pruning, the utmost precision. If you stop to observe each vine, you can see how the arms take shape with each pruning year after year.    <\/p>\n<p>The same love is transmitted in each stage of vine care. By respecting the land and the plants, nature works its magic.
