2025 has begun, and with it, the latest scores from the world’s most recognized wine guide, Robert Parker, Wine Advocate, have been released. Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola continues to lead with the best wines of the Denomination of Protected Origin Alicante.
In his newly published article “Spain: 2022 and 2023 in Central and Mediterranean Spain, the Solar Years,” Luis Gutiérrez highlights the landscape wines: La Viña de Madaras 2023 with 92+ points, Pureza 2023 and Casa Agrícola Tinto 2022, both with 92 points, and Casa Agricola Blanco 2024 with 91 points.
And the current wines Fierroca 2021 with 96 points, El Veneno 2021 with 95, and Giró de Abargues 2021 with 95 RP points continue to be positioned as the highest-rated still red wines in barrels for Luis Gutiérrez and Robert Parker.
